About The Martin-Marshall-Currier-Frederick Family
Please sign in to see more.
To all who visit this site, welcome!

I am George W. Martin, born September 22, 1954, in New Hampshire. I am married to the former Catherine Elizabeth Frederick of Kentucky, and we have two children; Alicia Jean Martin and Amanda Brooke Martin. This site is a work in progress. I will be continually adding more photographs over time. I welcome any comments, new information or corrections you may have. If anyone in any of the families has photographs of anyone listed, please send them to me by email so I may include them.

I am looking for information on Antwine Cushion, born in Canada and the father of Mary Cushion (or Cushing), born in Vermont in 1842. Mary married Jacob Hill, and they are my great-grandparents on my mother`s side.

In early May, 2003, the Old Man of the Mountain fell from his perch in Franconia Notch. Everyone who can trace their roots back to New Hampshire feels as though they have lost a member of the family.

Announcement! My book on the First Georgia Volunteer Infantry (Ramsey`s) has been published by Mercer University Press. William H. Marshall, nephew of my ancestor Moody Marshall was in Co. H of the regiment. Available through most online booksellers!

Getting Around
There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
